Biography

Career
Second son of Emile Auguste OUCHARD and brother of Bernard OUCHARD
In 1949, he started his apprenticeship with Louis BAZIN and then continue in his uncle's workshop : François LOTTE.
In 1954, he joined his father in the U.S. to work in Jacques Français workshop in New York city.
In 1958, he came back to Mirecourt to join M. Lapierre workshop. 
From 1959 to 1968, he joined the Max Möller's workshop in Amsterdam where he specialised himself in the bow restoration. He then come back to France to join the Carmaux workshop, where he is in charged with the training of the bow makers.

Workshop
In 1978, he came back to Mirecourt where he ran his own workshop.
In 1989, he joined CABLÉ's a local business man, for whom he produced bows until he retired in 1993.
