Death : 1749

GOBETTI worked in Venice from 1690 to 1732 and is considered as one of the great Venetian makers, his production being closed in quality to Domenico MONTAGNANA and Carlo BERGONZI.

GOBETTI production is rare and his violins are true concert instruments. The workmanship is always very fine and the wood of superior quality is coated with a magnificent dark orange varnish.
