Career
Son of a violin maker, Célestin Emile CLASQUIN probably served his apprenticeship under Charles Nicolas BAZIN.
He joined Jérôme THIBOUVILLE LAMY before establishing his own workshop in Paris in 1918.

Production
Clasquin's production, mainly violin and cello bows, is including nickel and silver mounted bows.
This production is not abundant, even if always of good quality.
