Biography

Career
Georges Emile BARJONNET served his apprenticeship under CUNIOT HURY before joining Emile OUCHARD Père in 1937.
BARJONNET then worked with Emile Auguste OUCHARD fils until OUCHARD left for Paris in 1940.
It was at this time that he established his own workshop in the suburb of Mirecourt, at Poussay.
In 1943, he joined the
Jérôme THIBOUVLILLE LAMY firm.
When THIBOUVILLE shut its doors in 1969, he joined Roger GEROME, for whom he made high-end bows.

Works
The production of Georges Emile BARJONNET, always of good quality, can be linked to the school of Ouchard, but can scarcely be found under his own name. During his career, the majority of his production was made for CUNIOT HURY, Emile OUCHARD Père et Fils, Roger GEROME, Jérôme THIBOUVILLE LAMY, and Paul BEUSHER.
