Birth : 1912 in Mirecourt (Vosges) Death : 1944 in Saint Philibert (Ornes)

Son and pupil of his father Joseph AUBRY

His work is very similar to his father's in style and character.
The rich red-brown varnish on a golden ground likewise resembles that which his father used.
Victor AUBRY's production is rare, however.
His instruments bear to the inside back his signature, the date, and the place of fabrication in the same manner as his father's production. Certain instruments are also marked with a round stamp.

After the death of his father in 1937, Victor AUBRY took over the workshop in Le Havre.
In 1940 he moved the workshop to Paris where he remained until 1942 at which point he relocated to St. Philiber (Orne).
