Birth : 1922 in Ravenna, Emila-Romagna (Italy)

A pupil of Giuseppe PELUZZI.

Pupil of Giuseppe PELUZZI, a maker active in Turin, we know very few about Mario PIZZOLINI
After John DILWORTH he was a prolific maker of instruments and bows.
DILWORTH says he produced instruments after classical model, with transparent golden-yellow varnish.
The cello presented here is covered with a more orange-varnish hue with a deeply colored ground layer which enhances the figure in the wood.
