Career
Charles Nicolas BAZIN was the son of François Xavier BAZIN, a bow maker who learned his craft with Dominique PECCATTE.
Charles Nicolas BAZIN served his apprenticeship under his father before becoming his assistant. 
In 1865, after his father’s death, he took over the workshop at the age of eighteen. 
Between 1907 and 1909 Charles Nicolas BAZIN’s son, Louis BAZIN, took over the workshop, though Charles Nicolas continued to work with his son until his death in 1915.
