It is interesting to note that even during Charles LE LYONNAIS’s collaboration with Le Chenantais, Le Lyonnais signed some violins with his name only. See label no. 1 dated 1933 in the Archives gallery

Work
The edges of his violins are a very characteristic feature: they are very high and sharp, creating a kind of channel between the end of the arching and the edge itself.
