Biographie

Moretti Egidio was a cabinetmaker who began making violins around 1924-28. He worked in Lavagna (in the province of Genoa) between 1945-55. He used two different labels - according to the city of residence - the former handwritten and the latter printed. Accurate work, classical model, Good varnish either of a light color or an intense red. (after Eric BLOT & Alberto GIORDANO T 3 of Liuteria Italiana).
