生平

事業
Charles Adolphe MAUCOTEL 於Mirecourt完成學徒訓練後，於1839年在巴黎加入 Jean-Baptiste VUILLAUME 之工作室，其時為19歲。 Charles Adolphe MAUCOTEL 在該工作室曾工作5年，並成為 VUILLAUME 之主要共事者。（1）
1844年， Charles Adolphe MAUCOTEL 在巴黎Galerie Vivienne成立自己的工作室，及後於1852年遷往rue Croix des Petits Champs，最後定址於rue Princesse。據 William HENLEY 所指， Charles Adolphe MAUCOTEL 於1858年自殺身亡。（2）

獎項及殊榮
- 1844 Bronze Medal for a viola at the National Paris Exhibition (3)
- 1855 Medal of second class at the International Paris Exhibition.(3)
