Career
The pupil of Jules GAILLARD, Paul Joseph BAILLY contributed to the workshops  of Prosper GERARD and Jean-Baptiste VUILLAUME, in Paris.
Bailly then moved to Belgium, and eventually to Great-Britain, where he worked in London at 86 Wardour St. He also worked for Harry DYKES in Leeds (Great Britain), and briefly in the United States before returning to Paris and opening his own workshop, in 1898 rue de Grenelle.

Honors & Awards
According to BAILLY's labels, he won gold, vermeil and silver medals at International exhibitions in Paris, Sydney and Melbourne.

After his death in 1907, BAILLY’s daughter Jenny BAILLY succeeded him and took over the Paris workshop.
