Biography

Career
At the age of fifteen, Pierre GAUTHIÉ began his apprenticeship in his father's workshop under the direction of Paul Victor LORANGE .
In 1897 he joined workshop of Paul MANGENOT in MIRECOURT before joining Georges CUNAULT in Paris the next year.
Circa 1900 GAUTHIÉ took over Charles SIMONIN firm in Toulouse.
Up until 1914, Pierre GAUTHIÉ was still active in Toulouse  where is business was located at 9, rue Romiguières

Stamp showing a harp with G and D on its two sides, on the inside block and on the outside lower rib.

Successors
Pierre GAUTHIÉ was succeeded by his sons who worked in the piano business.
