Biography

Career
Olivier MARISSAL served his apprenticeship under his father in Joseph HEL's workshop.
Olivier MARISSAL worked first with Pierre HEL before establishing his own workshop in 1932.

Works
His works are mainly inspired by Stradivari and Guarneri, the best ones coated with a rich red-brown varnish.
Beside his instruments, we find an excellent workshop production, bearing the label "Stradivarius Moderne" taken from Pierre HEL (see Iconography).
