Since then, his career has gradually become involved in many aspects of the music business : manufacturing of instruments and bows, repairing, restoration, trading of instruments and expertise.
Having made his first bow in Paul Siefried’s shop in Los Angeles in 1984, he completed his bow training with  Stephane THOMACHOT.
While in  LA, he completed his training in restoration of instruments, alongside his brother Bernard, with internships at Hans Weisshaar (Los Angeles, 1985).
In 1987 Pascal CAMURAT joined for height months the studio of Charles Beare in London.
In 1988 he came to Paris to join his Father's workshop.
When in 1990 Jacques CAMURAT retired Pascal succeeded his father in Paris with his brother Bernard, establishing themselves under the name "CAMURAT Frères"
Since 2000 Pascal CAMURAT has find his place in Montpellier where he mostly makes fine bows and, occasionally, some violins.

Works
His early violin and viola bows ,made from a personal model, are based on the classic French makers of the 19th century. Starting with a squared Peccatte style, Pascal moved towards models with a highly rounded personality, the sticks providing a secure and homogeneous flexibility.
For Cello bows, his inspiration has always stayed faithful to the style of Grand Adam.
In 2018, his production will total nearly 1000 bows.
Since leaving Mittenwald, Pascal has made 22 violins, 3 violas and 1 cello completely by his own hand. Beside this individual production, 20 cellos, 8 violas, and 5 violins have been produced in 12 years in collaboration with his brother Bernard, as well as with the invaluable violin makers who have been associated with the  CAMURAT Freres workshop:
Gilles ORIN, Stéphane TAVEAU, Pascaline and Frank RAVATIN, Guillaume HOUERY, Marion TISSOT.
