Biography

Career
Joseph VAUTRIN has carried on the carriers of violin maker, violinist and composer.
He made his apprenticeship with Paul CHIPOT in MIRECOURT before joining the workshop of Émile GERMAIN in Paris, where he was employed as principal workman.

Workshop
In 1892 Joseph VAUTRIN established his own workshop 28, rue Chanzy in MIRECOURT, before moving in 1894 to Chaumont, at 8,rue Laloy.
